Following Up

After booking with an agent, management team, or artist personally the key to continuing that relationship for future events is following up. Thank them for coming in and performing a wonderful show! Ask if they think you could’ve improved your event in any way or your booking process. The perks of working a position like this in college is people are willing to help you learn and give you advice to improve your future skills.

What To Ask:
  • How was the event overall?
  • What could have made it better?
  • Feedback to improve the booking process?
  • Any other feedback to be aware of?

To finish it off, ask if they have any recommendations for other future artists that they could help you book!
